What is Green SM? An Overview
Green SM is an electric taxi app operating across India's major cities. It's designed specifically for users who want a cheaper ride without waiting around. The company runs a fleet of battery-powered vehicles, which is why their base fares sit lower than regular cabs.
I've used it in Bangalore and Delhi, and the app loads fast even on slower connections. Your driver arrives in a yellow-and-green vehicle, and you get a text update every few minutes showing their exact location. The Green SM referral code system lets new riders grab significant savings right away.
What makes it different from Uber or Ola? Green SM is all-electric, so there's no combustion engine noise or smell. Plus, the company's been pushing this as an eco-friendly option, though honestly, the main appeal for most users is just the lower price.
How to Maximize Your Green SM Referral Code Benefit
The best time to use your Green SM referral code GSMREFERRALSKJAP is when you're making back-to-back trips. I applied mine and used both discounts on a Thursday evening — one short ride to the station, one from the office to home. Saved around ₹280 total, which isn't life-changing but definitely worth the 2-minute effort to enter the code.
One thing to know: the 50% discount has a per-ride cap, so a ₹500 ride won't give you a full ₹250 off. But shorter urban rides — the kind you'd normally take — are exactly where the savings hit hardest. The app charges you only for the reduced fare, not the full amount, so there's no refund to wait for. For the latest terms and any updates to this offer, check Green SM's official website or app store listing, as promotions can shift throughout the year.
How to Use Green SM Referral Code GSMREFERRALSKJAP
Start by opening Google Play or the Apple App Store and installing Green SM. The app file is small — under 50MB — so even on a basic internet connection, you'll have it ready in under a minute. Once installed, tap Open and sign up with your phone number.
You'll get an OTP to verify your number. After that, Green SM asks for your Aadhar or PAN for KYC compliance. If your documents are already linked to other apps, this part runs quicker. A real tip from using it myself: take your photos in good lighting and make sure your face is clearly visible in the selfie, because the AI rejection rate goes down a lot with clear images. Once KYC is live, head to the Rewards section — it's usually a tab in the bottom menu or inside your profile. Paste GSMREFERRALSKJAP into the referral code box and hit Apply. Book your first ride immediately after; the discount applies to that ride and the next one you take within 7 days.
